It is fascinating to see how the natural world develops through time.

 

​Much of my research is devoted to understanding Macroevolution, with particular interests in  major transitions in the history of vertebrates, such as the deep origins and evolution of birds.

I teach Paleobiology, Paleozoology and Evolution in the Degree of Biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, as well as specialised courses  in shape analysis (Geometric Morphometrics).
